Postpartum doulas provide physical and emotional support to families during the fourth trimester. We provide a helping hand, a listening ear, and an open mind. We can do light housework, take care of baby, support your feeding choices, and listen to your concerns. You can take time for yourself to rest without worrying about everything else.
Sleep is essential to our mental health regardless of your parenting status. But add in a newborn baby who eats every couple of hours, does not want to be put down and is up at all hours of the night, and you are certainly not getting the amount or quality of sleep that you need to function, let alone take care of another human being.
Overnight doula care is the ideal solution! Following safe sleep guidelines, we take care of your baby all night so you can get a full night of rest. We help to establish healthy sleep habits, and for babies 6 weeks and older we can start to set up a good foundation for babies to eventually learn to fall asleep and back to sleep independently. Parents are able to sleep all night and start fresh the next day.
SLEEP IS ESSENTIAL
Sleep is necessary for a child's growth and development, learning, memory
and emotional health. By getting more sleep yourself, you will be a happier parent.
OUR METHODS
Using an approach that is the right fit for your family, we teach you how to get your baby falling asleep and back to sleep independently.
